JMS April lunch menu

Good morning Comet families. It looks like Spring break will be extended one more day. JCS still has no power so we will be closed today. The restoration time for power is this afternoon so we hope to see you all tomorrow! Have a great day and stay safe!
Mrs. Smith will be hosting an informational meeting for all current eighth graders and their parent(s)/guardian(s) on April 2nd; the event will begin at 6:00pm and will be held in the JHS auditorium. Mrs. Smith will provide an overview of all of the academic opportunities that are available in high school so that students are able to engage in thoughtful conversations before selecting elective courses for the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you!
Middle School track update for Thursday 3/20- Conditioning will be at the middle school gym and will end at 4pm. Parents please pick up your students at the middle school gym at 4pm.
Mrs. Rowe and Mr. Keller’s Historical Events Through Cinema class had the first ever Olympic Games. After studying about the Cold War and watching the film Miracle, the fun began. Events consisted of paper plate discus, cotton ball shot put, rubber band archery, “paper” trash ball, pencil in a box (mind games), & egg toss. At the end of Thursday’s event there was a tie between Team 2 and Team 4. On Friday we had our tiebreaker, the 2 teams met in the Gaga Ball pit and Team 2 walked away as the gold medal winners! Fun was had by all.

Happy Pi Day from Mrs. Blakleys classroom!!
