Winter Sports Pre-season meeting for all Jonesville High School students interested in playing a winter sport will take place on Wednesday, November 5, at 7:30pm in the high school gym. November 9th is the first day for bowling and competitive cheer. Boys basketball starts on November 11th. Wrestling starts on November 16th. Girls basketball starts on November 18th.
This meeting is for all athletes and their parents/guardians. The meeting will take less than an hour. The meeting will start out with a quick review of the athletic handbook and certain points of emphasis. The athletic handbook will need to be signed by any student athlete that did not participate in a fall sport and a parent/guardian by the end of their first week of practice. The athletic trainer will also be there to discuss the protocols and procedures that need to be followed. We will finish up with each athlete attending a sport specific meeting with the coaching staff of that sport to go over program expectations and hand out schedules.

This year, there is a minor change. The 6th grade teachers will have their open night on
Tuesday, October 13th. No appointment is required. Their team meetings will take place on the next night, Wednesday, October 14th.
Conversely, the 7th and 8th grade teams will have their team meetings on Tuesday, October 13th and their open night will be on October 14th.
Again, apologies for all the confusion. This was communicated in last week’s parent call out but we can do a better job next year of transmitting this information. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the office if you have any questions. We appreciate all your inquiries.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 10/7 is a 2-Hour Late Start!
Doors open at 9:25 AM and Classes start at 9:45AM
Buses will operate as normal — just 2 hours later than usual.
Thank you for your understanding.
