Weekly Update For 9/13/21

Dear JMS Parents,

Welcome to the first full week of school.  Here are the important dates and information for the week:

  • Picture day is TOMORROW, Monday, September 13th.

    • If you still need to order pictures, go to mylifetouch.com and enter code EVT93RP38

  • Ms. Bansen will be our new 6th grade English teacher.  We’re very excited to have her on board and she will be a great addition to our staff.  Please welcome her to our district!

  • Students who are quarantined are required to complete all classwork while they are away from school.  Your teacher should have Google Classroom or Schoology set up to deliver all assignments and instruction.  Failure to complete assignments on time will result in a lowered grade.  If you are sick, please let your teacher know so an exception can be.

  • Sports:

    • JMS Football, Wednesday, September 15 @ 5:30pm.  Away at Quincy.

    • JMS Volleyball, Wednesday, September 15 @ 5:00pm.  Away at Fremont Middle School

  • Do You Like Animals or Being Outdoors? Are You Competitive or Like Challenges? Join Us for an Informational Meeting About Middle School FFA.

Ag Classroom in High School (Enter from Greenhouse at the back of the high school).

Middle School FFA will meet after school on Tuesdays, beginning September 21, 2021 in room 408.    Meeting times will be 3:00 - 4:00 PM.

Middle School FFA members will be able to participate in all FFA activities and competitions.

There is no fee for joining FFA. Only 7th and 8th graders may participate in the competitive events.
