Weekly Update For 9/6/21
Dear JMS Parents,
Your child has a brand new schedule to follow tomorrow. New schedules were handed out on Friday and are available on Skyward. This new schedule will allow us to continue in person with as few quarantines as possible. Here are the important dates and information for the week:
School times
Doors open at 7:35
Dismissal at 2:40
WIN and core classes will most likely be different for all students. We'll help everyone get to their correct class, don't worry.
Lunch will still be in the cafeteria, but we will have new assigned seats.
Students who are quarantined are required to complete all classwork while they are away from school. Your teacher should have Google Classroom or Schoology set up to deliver all assignments and instruction. Failure to complete assignments on time will result in a lowered grade. If you are sick, please let your teacher know so an exception can be.
Picture day information should be coming home this week.
Sports:
JMS Football, Wednesday, September 8 @ 6pm. Scrimmage at home vs Homer.
JMS Cross Country, Friday, September 10 at 4:30. Away at Hillsdale Academy.
JMS Volleyball, Wednesday, September 8 @ 5:00pm. Home vs Lenawee Christian

Ag Classroom in High School (Enter from Greenhouse at the back of the high school).
Middle School FFA will meet after school on Tuesdays, beginning September 21, 2021 in room 408. Meeting times will be 3:00 - 4:00 PM.
Middle School FFA members will be able to participate in all FFA activities and competitions.
There is no fee for joining FFA. Only 7th and 8th graders may participate in the competitive events.
Additional JMS Clubs - More information will be shared prior to the club starting.

Masks are optional in school, however, if you ride the bus, they are required the entire time you are on the bus.

If your child is feeling ill, please keep them home. Sick students will be sent home and required to be picked up.
